On March 14, on the Day of Circassian Language, the Circassian (Adyg) Cultural Centre presented in Tbilisi the reprinted edition of the book "Kortaneti Stories" written by Mikhail Lokhvitsky, a Soviet writer, an ethnic Circassian. In the book, the writer tells the readers about the life of one of the Georgian villages.

Servicemen of the engineering-sapper units of the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) have started a new phase of clearing the territory of Chechnya of mines, bombs and other explosive devices, said a source from the Chechen Military Commandant. The militaries plan to clean up about 8000 hectares.
