Ingush police refuse to announce versions on GIBDD inspector's murder because of secrecy of investigation
The name and title of an inspector of the road police (known as GIBDD) shot dead in Magas and the versions of his murder are not revealed in the interests of the investigation. Family members of the deceased GIBDD inspector were promised to be provided with financial assistance.

ECtHR begins communicating with Azerbaijan on two complaints about torture and violations of right to liberty
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has started to communicate with the Azerbaijan's government concerning two complaints filed by Hilal Mamedov, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Tolyshi Sado" (Voice of Talysh), and by Mukhammed Gurbanov and Nadir Mamedov, residents of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The Azerbaijani authorities have three months to answer the questions posed by the ECtHR.

Dagestan: first group of Vremenny residents visit their homes with commission for assessing damage
The commission set up to assess the damage caused to locals during the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime has started working in the settlement of Vremenny, Untsukul District of Dagestan. The first group of residents could get into Vremenny with the commission, locals report. According to their stories, domestic appliances and furniture in their houses was broken or stolen; even the flooring was taken away.
