Seven European cities host actions in protest against Ramzan Kadyrov's policy

On January 23, in cities of Europe, natives of Chechnya held a series of protests against human rights violations in Chechnya. The rallies were held in Berlin, Vienna, Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Istanbul, and Kiev.

According to a participant of the rally held in Vienna, the protest action was attended by 200 people. The man has noted that people from Chechnya do not stay indifferent to the situation in the republic.

"The rally was attended by natives of Chechnya, who are not indifferent to the situation in their homeland, where human rights are violated... Let's mention, for example, the case of Aishat Inaeva and Adam Dikaev or the murder of Khizir Ezhiev nobody intends to investigate it," said the source.

In Helsinki, protesters have stated that they are protesting against the "tyranny in Chechnya." A video about the protest action was published on YouTube by user Trojan tor. The video show about 20 people.

In Istanbul, the rally was held in front of the Consulate General of Russia located in Istiklal Street. The video of the rally was published by Facebook user Dowt Hamza, and it shows about 25 people, most of whom are hiding their faces.

In Kiev, participants of the rally held in front of the Russian Embassy wanted to pass on a letter for Russian President Vladimir Putin; however, no one came out to them, "The Voice of America" reports.
