The photo show "On the plains and in the mountains: children's weekdays in Northern Caucasus" was opened on June 6 at the Moscow's Sakharov Centre in the presence of some 25-30 people. The exhibition features about 100 photos taken by children aged from 8 to 15 living in Dagestan, Ingushetia and Chechnya.

A rally against naming a bridge in the Krasnoselsky District of Saint Petersburg in honour of Akhmat Kadyrov, the first president of the ChechenRepublic, was held today in the Marsovo Pole. Akhmat Kadyrov and his son Ramzan have nothing to do with Saint Petersburg, this is the main protesters' argument against the naming of the bridge.
