On the day of the funeral of Yusup Temirkhanov, who was serving his sentence in a penal colony, the leader of Chechnya declared that the convict had not been involved in the murder of Yuri Budanov. Meanwhile, Ramzan Kadyrov admitted that the sentence made Yusup Temirkhanov a national hero, who "took revenge for the desecrated honour" and the murder of Elza Kungaeva, a Chechen young woman.

Today, the board of the Supreme Court (SC) of Chechnya has dismissed the complaint filed by the defence of Oyub Titiev, the head of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" in Grozny, about the Court's refusal to transfer the trial to another region. The Court has also refused the advocates in viewing the video of the Chechen leader's speeches criticizing Oyub Titiev and judges.

Zaur Dadaev, sentenced in the case on the Boris Nemtsov's murder, whose hunger strike was announced by the defence, takes food, and there are numerous witnesses for that, reported the spokesperson for the Chief Department for the Irkutsk Region of the Federal Penitentiary Service (known as FSIN). The Prosecutor's Office also denied the information about the hunger strike of Zaur Dadaev.
