Most of the Armenian HIV-infected patients are aged 25-39, 60 percent of all of them represent this group. 73 percent, or 590 HIV-infected patients in Armenia are males, 27 percent, or 218 cases, have been registered among women; the number of infected children makes 16 cases, or 2 percent.
