Zaur Ozrokov, a resident of Cherkessk, was killed in a road traffic accident by a policeman's car.

The Baku Court of Appeal (BCA) has dismissed the appeal lodged by the Azerbaijani journalist Rauf Mirkadirov against the denial to meet a notary. The journalist wanted to notarize a power of attorney granted to a foreign lawyer to represent his interests in Turkey. Now, Mirkadirov's defence intends to complain to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).
