The international human rights organization "Amnesty International" (AI) has recognized Ruslan Kutaev, President of the Assembly of Peoples of the Caucasus, a "prisoner of conscience". Furthermore, the AI has asked its supporters around the world to call on the Russian authorities to immediately release Ruslan Kutaev.

Relatives of the four locals, killed during the special operation conducted in the Dagestani village of Maidanskoe, complain that they cannot get dead men’s bodies for burial from law enforcers. In Dagestan, a "Caucasian Knot" source from the law enforcement agencies has reported the details of the murder of Police Colonel Aitemir Salimgereev committed in Kizilyurt. Attackers handcuffed the owner of the house to a metal heating pipe and tied him with a cord. Then, they inflicted multiple stab wounds to him and cut off the Aitemir Salimgereev's head.
