The Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation should resume a check on the complaint filed by natives of Dagestan Murad and Firuddin Ragimov about torture, the fact of which was recognized by the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), the “Team Against Torture”* reports.

A court in Grozny has granted a motion of Zarema Musaeva's defence for a new expert examination and agreed that it should be conducted outside of Chechnya, a lawyer for the Team Against Torture* has informed.

In a social network, residents of Dagestan have reminded Sergey Melikov, the head of the republic, that the law enforcers involved in the murder of Gasanguseinov brothers, have not yet been punished. They demanded a duly qualitative inquiry into the death of a native of the Shamil District at a Makhachkala police station.
