The Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ingushetia denied the information that on the list of names of 52 people called potential suicide bombers allegedly published by security services the majority were natives of Ingushetia. The Ministry called for the residents of the republic to report all the facts of obscure disappearance of citizens to law enforcement bodies.

The investigatory bodies have announced their main version of the murder of Maksud Sadikov, the Rector of the Makhachkala Institute of Theology, who was shot dead on June 7. It was, according to the investigators, in his professional and social activities, where he actively opposed radical Islamic groupings.

Maksud Sadykov, a public and religious figure well known in Dagestan, Chancellor of the Institute of Theology, was killed at the moment of firing at a car in Makhachkala. His nephew Zelimkhan Musaev perished together with him, Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation in Dagestan reported.

Igor Negerev, a former deputy of the Astrakhan Regional Duma, convicted for an attempt to trip over a GIBDD (road police) inspector and accused of false denunciation of law enforcement bodies, has prepared a package of necessary documents for the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), since he believes that both cases were fabricated. The Regional Investigatory Committee refuses to comment on the situation.
