Abkhaz investigators open criminal case against men detained on border with Georgia
Three citizens of Georgia face even up to five years of imprisonment in a case on violation of the border with Abkhazia. The detainees have been kept at a temporary detention facility for 10 days, awaiting a decision concerning the pre-trial restriction measure.

North-Caucasian believers ready to postpone the Hajj because of pandemic
Over 3000 Dagestani Muslims have paid for their pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, but in case this year's Hajj is cancelled due to the pandemic, they may have their money back or book tours for the next year, the "Marva Tour" travel agency has promised. Ingush native and policemen wounded in shootout in Moscow

Kadyrov orders to seize cars from long wedding corteges

Anniversary of attack on Budyonnovsk actualizes dispute over operation outcomes
The armed attack by militants of Shamil Basaev on Budyonnovsk committed 25 years ago should have ended with the liquidation of the field commander, even at the cost of lives of most hostages, the law enforcers who took part in the operation believe.
