PFPA treats Gakhramanly's refusal from hired advocate as suspicious
Fuad Gakhramanly, a member of the Presidium of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), said that he refused to plead guilty in the case of activists' clashes with the police, but decided not to appeal against his arrest and refused from the services of the advocate hired by his party colleagues. General Public Prosecutor convinces Tamar Bachaliashvili's mother to stop hunger strike

Tofig Yagublu accuses court of fulfilling political order
At his trial at the Nizami District Court, Tofig Yagublu, a member of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) and of the "Musavat" Party, declared his innocence. Makitov family's lawyer treats lawsuit against power body as precedent
The court has postponed for almost two months the consideration of the lawsuit lodged by the mother and brother of Khusei Makitov, the murdered resident of Kabardino-Balkaria, against the FSB, demanding compensation for the moral harm. The FSB is responsible for the actions of its employees, said the advocate, referring to a similar decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in the case of the policeman named Evsyukov.

AI condemns Azerbaijani authorities for arresting activists
The international human rights organization "Amnesty International" (AI) has expressed its concern about persecutions of political oppositionists in Azerbaijan.
