Since the beginning of the conflict escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh, 141 residents of Azerbaijan have been injured and 376 houses have been destroyed, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reports. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia denied information about shelling attacks on Azerbaijani villages and cities.

Russia sees a threat to its security in the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, since the region attracts militants from international terrorist groupings to Southern Caucasus, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service claims. The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) awarded 33,800 euros in compensation to Mikhail Vladovsky, a resident of Chechnya, in a case on his torture by the police, the ECtHR reported.

The shelling of Azerbaijani dwelling settlements continues; the cities of Ganja, Terter, Barda, Beylagan and Goradiz got under fire, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported. According to the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) of Azerbaijan, the death toll of civilians rose to 26; the number of wounded civilians has reached 127.
