Human rights defenders demand to investigate war crimes of parties to Karabakh conflict
Azerbaijan and Armenia used inaccurate weapons during shelling attacks on cities, towns, and villages during the autumn escalation of the Karabakh conflict, and as a result, dozens of civilians were killed and hundreds of others were injured. The parties to the conflict must bring the persons responsible for war crimes to justice, states the human rights organization "Amnesty International" (AI).

Ingush historians treat installation of solar panels on towers as unacceptable
Historical towers are of great value for the entire Ingush people; and solar panels spoil their appearance and destroy buildings, the historians interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" assert. Family of suspect for drug trafficking in Dagestan leaves Tarki after decision of alims

Karabakh accuses Azerbaijan of non-disclosing number of POWs
After the conclusion of the ceasefire, 64 Armenian soldiers have been arrested in Azerbaijan and are still being held captive, states Artak Beglaryan, the chief for the Nagorno-Karabakh President's administration. According to a lawyer representing the interests of the Armenian prisoners of war (POWs) in the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), in total, 120 people are still being held captive in Azerbaijan.

The installation of video cameras and solar panels on historic towers in the mountains has angered residents of Ingushetia.
