Five activists of Navalny's Krasnodar office arrested
Sofia Pilyukova, the deputy coordinator of Navalny's office in Krasnodar, and four other activists have been arrested for up to five days. Their advocates assert that law enforcers are presenting ordinary activists as protest organizers.

Lawyers assess Kadyrov's ability to help brawler with law enforcers
A Chechen authorities' positive opinion will be a weighty argument during the trial of the young man who had beaten up law enforcers during the rally of Navalny's supporters in Moscow, lawyers believe. Nagorno-Karabakh residents alerted by idea of travelling through Kelbadjar
Residents of Nagorno-Karabakh fear that in case if an alternative road is open between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan may achieve the closure of the Lachin corridor. Some of the Nagorno-Karabakh residents doubt that travels through the territory controlled by Azerbaijan would be safe.

Instagram users discuss role of Dagestani woman in her daughter's marriage to militant

Chechen State Duma delegate demands extradition of Akhmed Zakaev to Russia
After Akhmed Zakaev spoke in support of the suspects killed by law enforcers in the village of Katar-Yurt, Shamsail Saraliev, a delegate to the State Duma from Chechnya, has claimed that the General Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia are to achieve the extradition of Akhmed Zakaev from the UK.

Kadyrov's advisor offers surrender to a participant of a clash with OMON in Moscow

Police use batons to detain Navalny's supporters in Moscow
Russian law enforcers are detaining the participants of the unauthorized rally in Moscow in support in Alexei Navalny, acting harshly and using rubber batons. The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump. The meeting of Trump, Aliyev and Pashinyan took place on August 8 in Washington. Following the meeting, Pashinyan and Aliyev also signed a joint declaration.
