Dagestan remains outsider in vaccination rating
In Chechnya, a total of 30.3% of the population has received both doses of coronavirus vaccine, while Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia remain in the last places in terms of the proportion of those vaccinated, the RBC (RosBiznesConsulting) has informed.

16 Georgian citizens evacuated from Afghanistan
Employees of a foreign company flew out of Kabul and will return to Georgia today, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) reports. According to the diplomats, the above employees are the last Georgian citizens remaining in Afghanistan.

Two Georgian citizens leave Kabul
Two more Georgian citizens have left Afghanistan and flew to Germany to return to their homeland. According to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), overall 14 Georgian citizens are still in Kabul, which was captured by the Taliban.

Political analysts assess chances to revive Armenian-Azerbaijani talks within OSCE Minsk Group
Baku does not exclude the resumption of negotiations with the participation of the officials of the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe), if ways of achieving peace based on mutual recognition of the two countries' territorial integrity are offered, Azerbaijani political analysts assert. The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump. The meeting of Trump, Aliyev and Pashinyan took place on August 8 in Washington. Following the meeting, Pashinyan and Aliyev also signed a joint declaration.
