Regions of Southern Russia are outsiders in wage level

In the ranking of Russian regions in terms of wages, Kalmykia took the last place. Only 1.2% of residents of this republic get salaries over 100,000 roubles per month, while 19.6% residents get less than 15,000 roubles. The ten outsiders also include Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan.

Complaints of Ingush law enforcers made grounds for persecuting "Memorial"*

Most of the complaints about the absence of due marking, which have formed the basis of the lawsuits demanding to liquidate the "International Memorial" and the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial", were lodged by the Ingush branch of the Russian FSB. After reports about Saakashvili's fainting, oppositional MP goes on dry hunger strike

Bachuki Kardava, an MP from the "United National Movement" (UNM) Party, who has been on a hunger strike for the sixth day in support of Mikhail Saakashvili, has refused to drink water after the third president of Georgia got into the intensive care unit. Two doctors' councils and the head of the Georgian Ministry of Public Health came to the conclusion that Saakashvili needed treatment in a civilian clinic.
