Dagestani resident claims being persecuted by police officers

UNICEF: each fifth child with disabilities in Armenia does not attend kindergarten and school
In Armenia, children with disabilities are restricted in their ability to attend educational institutions, although the progress in that issue is noticeable. This was stated by the report, submitted by the Directorate of the educational programmes of the Armenian Office of the UNICEF. Parents of children with disabilities report that many of them cannot get the status of an invalid because of red tape and corruption in the health care system.

Deputies from Rostov CPRF report on attack on Communist Deputy of Legislative Assembly
Faction of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) in the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region appealed to the Governor, the Chairman of the Regional Parliament, the Prosecutor's Office, the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) and the FSB with a request to protect Viktor Bulgakov, First Secretary of the CPRF of Taganrog City Committee, a Deputy of the Legislative Assembly, against attacks. According to the appeal, the Deputy from the CPRF was attacked with a weapon, he received phone calls with threats, and a fake of an explosive device was plant to him. Protesters in Tbilisi demand to ratify UN Convention on Invalids' Rights
In Tbilisi, in front of the residence of Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, an action "Equal Opportunities for All" was held to support people with disabilities. NCFD regions sum up elections outcomes
Elections of leaders of municipal formations, members of regional legislative assemblies, heads and deputies of dwelling settlements in a number of regions of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) did not arise great interest of voters, except for Chechnya, where the Republic's Central Election Commission (CEC) reported 95 percent of voter turnout, and in Karachaevsk, where a representative of the CEC reported the turnout of 97 percent.
