Armenian advocates discover "threat to system of governance" in amendments to Constitution

Residents of Kabardino-Balkaria report on pollution of Shalushka River
In Kabardino-Balkaria, the Shalushka River is suffering an ecological disaster because of the discharges of sewage effluent. This was reported by local residents. According to the studies carried out by specialists of the "Kabbalkvodresursy", the concentration of nitrates and ammonium phosphate in water of the Shalushka River exceeds permissible level of pollution.
