Check finds no violations in actions of Nalchik SIZO staff

According to the preliminary outcomes of the check conducted in SIZO (pre-trial prison) No. of Nalchik, the April 11 hunger strike of inmates was unjustified and unlawful, while the actions of the SIZO employees were legitimate, said Mukhamed Marzhokhov, the head of the Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service (known as FSIN).

MCC returns case against Dagestani woman to Prosecutor's Office

Baku and Stepanakert exchange accusations of shelling with mortar launchers

During the past day, the Armenian side shelled the Azerbaijani positions 114 times. This was stated by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD). The MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh reported 50 cases of shelling from the Azerbaijani side. According to the both MoDs, the attacks were carried out also with the use of mortar launchers.

Leader of local militants detained in Sogratl
