Karinna Moskalenko prepares claims on behalf of victims of Dubrovka terror act
In the case against Khasan Zakaev, a native of Chechnya, accused of involvement in the seizure of the Dubrovka Theatre in 2002, the victim party will file civil claims for compensation for damage. Law enforcers report names of persons suspected of plotting terror acts in Ingushetia and Moscow

ECtHR awards over 1.1 million euros to relatives of persons missing after CTO in Chechnya
Today, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has handed down two decisions on the claims submitted by 16 relatives of the Chechen residents, one of whom was killed by power agents and others went missing. The total compensation amount made 1.129 million euros, says the today's statement posted on the website of the "Legal Initiative".

Chechen SC rejects disqualification of judge running Geriev's case

Vasiliev appeals against refusal to annul election outcomes in Sochi
Igor Vasiliev, the leader of the Sochi branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), has sent an appeal to the Russian Supreme Court against the decision of the Krasnodar Territorial Court, which refused to cancel the State Duma election outcome at the single-mandate constituency No. 50. Zakaev confesses of carriage firearms for "Nord-Ost" capturers

Damage from hurricane in KChR estimated at hundred million roubles
On November 21, in the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR), a strong wind, gusts of which reached 34 meters per second, damaged social facilities and private households in the city of Cherkessk and in four republic's districts – the Nogai, Adyg-Khabl, Prikuban and Abaza Districts.

A court in Baku has dismissed the complaint of torture applied to journalist Fikret Faramazoglu, accused of extortion. The court has ignored the arguments of his advocate, who asserted that most of his client's teeth had been knocked out. Armenian refugees from Aleppo report daily bombardments (+video)
Starting from May 2015, the money raised by the "Aleppo" charity organization has helped some 300 people to move from Syria to Armenia; it is planned to bring other 50 people there till the New Year.
