In Krasnodar, the court has sentenced human rights defender Vladislav Nikitenko to six years of imprisonment and to a heavy fine. Vladislav Nikitenko was found guilty of defamation of a prosecutor, contempt of court, obstruction of justice, and assaulting a policeman.

Makhachkala authorities explain urgent opening of kennel for stray dogs by schoolgirl's death

The description of the video entitled "Stop Haram! I’m ready to die for Islam!" states that Islam Ismailov, the author of the project, "tries to convey to townspeople that drinking alcohol and smoking in public places is not just illegal, but also immoral."
