Anastasia Titova, leader of Kuban branch of "Progress" Party, fined for organizing rally on June 12
In Sochi, a trial was held in the case against Anastasia Titova, the leader of the regional branch of the "Progress" Party. The activist was found guilty of organizing an unsanctioned rally on June 12. The judge initially sentenced Anastasia Titova to five days of imprisonment, but after a while pronounced a new decision to fine the activist by 20,000 roubles, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Court refuses to transfer Afghan Mukhtarly under house arrest

Relatives of perished girl demand to punish Abkhazian MP
Today, about 80 participants of the rally in Sukhumi have demanded to bring to justice the former security official of the Abkhazian president, suspected of raping a 13-year-old girl. The brother of the suspect, an Abkhazian MP should also be brought to justice, after whose incitement a sister of the raped girl was killed, the girls' relatives have stated.

Activist Fizuli Guseinov fined after picket in Baku

Sukhumi resident loses his leg after explosion in house yard
On June 19, in Sukhumi, a local resident was injured in his legs in an explosion in a yard of a five-storey building in Kalmykov Street. He was hospitalized to the Abkhazian Republican Hospital.

MIA fails to confirm information about attack on former chief of Buynaksk ROVD
The information that an unidentified person threw three grenades into the yard of the house belonging to Rustam Abdurakhmanov, the former chief of the ROVD (District Interior Division) for the Buynaksk District, was not confirmed. Over 50 Chechen gays get help from "Russian LGBT Network"
Since April 1, more than 100 gays from Chechnya and several members of the LGBT community from other regions of Northern Caucasus have applied for help to the "Russian LGBT Network", the organization reports. Three grenades thrown into of policeman's house in Dagestan

Residents and guests of Nalchik pay tribute to deported poet Kerim Otarov
Poets and translators from a number of Russian regions, and from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in the jubilee events dedicated to the 105th birthday of Balkarian poet Kerim Otarov. They noted that Otarov took part in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) and survived the deportation; he was one of the few who did not hesitate to speak out in defence of the Balkarian people.
