After release from Gelendzhik IVS, lezginka dancer summoned to ICRF
Today, Khazir Akhkubekov, who served five days of arrest after detention during performance of lezginka in Gelendzhik, has been summoned for interrogation to the Investigating Department for the Krasnodar Territory of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). Man wounded in explosion in Dagestan dies in hospital - report
Four persons fell victim to an explosion in the Khasavyurt District. Of them, two died at the place, and another died in the hospital. The fourth person stays in resuscitation ward. This was reported by the media without reference to their sources.

Law enforcers: victims of explosion in Dagestan could be linked to militants
An explosion which occurred in the Khasavyurt District on August 17 became the sixth explosion since early 2017 in the territory of Dagestan. An improvised explosive device (IED) could detonate while militants were arranging a hiding. This was suggested by a source from the law enforcement agencies.

HRC verifies information on new cases of torture used against Chechen residents
Rights defenders have informed Mikhail Fedotov, the chairman of the Presidential Council for Human Rights (HRC), that relatives of Magomed Taramov and Djamalai Tazbiev were subjected to beating at a police station. According to Mikhail Fedotov, he verifies the information through the Human Rights Council under the leader of Chechnya.

Investigators assert that IED exploded in Dagestan

Chechen law enforcers have detained Salman Taramov and Magomed Tazbiev, relatives of the young men detained in Chechnya after an attack on Grozny in December 2016.
