Construction plans at Tulip Tree outrage Gvashev
The Sochi authorities want to build restaurants and hotels at the Tulip Tree, sacred for Adygs, said Ruslan Gvashev, a Circassian activist, who is on a hunger strike since September 11 in protest against the fine imposed on him for praying at the Tree on the Adygs' Memory Day.

Activists regret about poor attendance of Nogais’ Remembrance and Sorrow Day
On October 1, about 120 members of the Nogai communities of Moscow and Novy Urengoy took part in the Remembrance and Sorrow Day. After the battle on October 1, 1783, and tsarist raids, Nogai people were scattered; many of them were killed, said Ramil Ishmukhambetov, a historian.

The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump. The meeting of Trump, Aliyev and Pashinyan took place on August 8 in Washington. Following the meeting, Pashinyan and Aliyev also signed a joint declaration. In addition to the agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Trump signed a number of separate memoranda with Aliyev and Pashinyan....
