PFPA treats arrest of party activist in Sumgait as unjustified
The Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) considers the arrest of Ruslan Gara, a party activist from the city of Sumgait, to be politically motivated and intends to file a complaint. Ismail Islamoglu, the Chairman of the Democratic Youth Organization of Azerbaijan, has also reported hi summoning to the police.

Ten houses to be demolished after explosions in Abkhazia
Builders are repairing the houses damaged by the explosions; the restoration of destroyed houses will begin in the near future, said Anzor Sakaniya, the head of the village of Primorskoe. According to the Ministry of Public Health of Abkhazia, all the victims of the explosions have been discharged from the republic's hospitals.

Jurors find seven Ingush residents guilty of attacking law enforcers
In Rostov-on-Don, at the trial, the jury has pronounced a verdict of guilty in the case on involvement of seven Ingush residents in an illegal armed formation (IAF). This is the second trial in the case. Earlier, the Supreme Court (SC) of Ingushetia has recognized five members of the grouping as innocent, and two others guilty in part.

The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump.
