Armenia may have a non-export version of Iskander missile systems, despite the Russia’s commitments not to provide such type of weapons to other countries, experts say. Direct sales to Yerevan of weapons intended for the Russian army have unlikely taken place, analyst Alexander Golts believes. He also doubts very much the possibility of Russia using Iskander missile systems during the Karabakh conflict.

In Ingushetia, law enforcers accumulated their vehicles in the streets of several villages in the Sunzha District, and their activities were accompanied by a shutdown of mobile internet service, eyewitnesses say. The filmmaker of the documentary "Quiet Voice" telling about the fate of a Chechen gay man was forced to close his account in a social network after the threats received from anonymous users who sent, among other things, a frightening video clip. The member of the Chechen community, after whose visit the film was removed from screening, behaved politely when they met, the organizers of the "Artdocfest" festival said.

While demining the city of Shusha, Azerbaijani sappers have found fragments of "Iskander" missiles. Some experts assert that this type of missiles is exclusively among Russia's weapons. The scandal around the "Iskander" missile complexes may seriously harm Moscow's image as a mediator in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, experts in Baku believe. Their colleagues in Yerevan parry that Azerbaijan is using the "Iskander" issue for its political purposes.

Human rights defenders who demanded to carry out an investigation into threats voiced by Ramzan Kadyrov found themselves without access to justice. Investigators refused to issue any resolution on their complaints, and the court dismissed the complaint about the investigators’ inaction because they had not issued any resolution, the Human Rights Centre (HRC) “Memorial”* reported.
