Dmitri Medvedev makes a visit to Chechnya
Firstly, President of the Russian Federation Dmitri Medvedev paid a visit to the tomb of the first President of Chechnya Ahmad Kadyrov in Tsentoroy village, then held a meeting in Grozny on development issues of the republic with participation of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, Plenipotentiary of the President in the NCFD (North-Caucasian Federal District) Alexander Khloponin, First Deputy Head of the President's Administration Vladislav Surkov and Director of the FSB Alexander Bortnikov.

Azerbaijan: two oppositionists arrested for 10 day, two more fined
In total, 32 participants of the Saturday's protest action in Baku, organized by the "Musavat" Party and the political block "Union for Democracy", were detained; the cases of six of them were sent to the court.
