Villager from Ikha, Dagestan, claims his son was beaten at boarding school

Abdulmuslim Aliev, a deaf-mute resident of the village of Ikha, Kazbek District of Dagestan, has lodged an application to the police that his son, a 6th form pupil, was beaten by a teacher of the Bavtugai boarding school. A cousin of the woman suicide bomber who exploded herself in the Moscow metro identified among the gunmen killed in Dagestan

Magomed Adalaev, one of the gunmen killed on April, 18, during a special operation near the settlement of Tashkapur, Levashi district of Dagestan, turned out to be a cousin of Mariam Sharipova who exploded herself in "Lubianka" metro station of Moscow in March, 2010. A source in one of the power ministries reported that the special operation in Tashkapur had been planned based on the information received about a visit of Israpil Valijanov, one of the leaders of Dagestani underground, to the settlement.

Unknown persons take documents away from Ingush MP Yusup Kostoev

At about midday, at the exit from Magas, the service car of Yusup Kostoev, a Deputy of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Ingushetia, was stopped. Defendants in Nalchik attack case protest against removal of refrigerators and TV-sets from their cells
