Zverevo residents suspend their hunger strike
The hunger strike of six pensioners from the city of Zverevo, Rostov Region, who demand revision of tariffs for housing services, was suspended. The regional authorities have set up a working group to check the rates on housing services in the city.

NAC: persons killed in KBR had links with militants and extorted money from businessmen
The four suspected militants killed today in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) have been identified. According to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) of the Russian Federation, they were engaged in supplying members of the armed underground with arms and ammunition; and were involved in extorting money from businessmen.
