Today, 200 persons attended an unsanctioned action held in Pugachov, a town in the Saratov Region, demanding to deport natives of Northern Caucasus. After the protest action, the local residents tried to block the highway Saratov-Samara, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reports.

According to the clarified information, 108 persons, including eight children, suffered as a result of the accident with the passenger train "Novosibirsk-Adler" that derailed. This was reported by the Ministry of Public Health of the Krasnodar Territory. Health professional from the Krylovskaya Central District Hospital has assessed the condition of the victims as moderate.

Atam Achmiz, a suspect in the murder case of the Deputy Prime Minister of Karachay-Cherkessia, has stated the ongoing torture and law enforcers' demands to defame his relatives and certain unfamiliar persons. Vyacheslav Merzakulov, his advocate, said, in his turn, that he is not allowed to meet his client, and investigative actions are carried out without the participation of the advocate, which violates Atam's right to defence.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has started to communicate with the government of Azerbaijan with regard to 14 complainants who filed complaints against the violation of their rights during the parliamentary elections held on November 7, 2010. On July 5, inAzerbaijan, the Shirvan Administrative Economic Court considered the claims against the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE), filed by 14 inhabitants of the Imishli District, who were affected by the flooding of 2010. Advocate Alexander Boichenko has challenged at the Krasnodar Regional Court the decision pronounced by the Adler District Court to fine 1000 roubles Sergey Krbaschyan, a detained builder.
