In Azerbaijan, Court deprives lawyer Aslan Ismailov of his advocate status
In Azerbaijan, the advocate's power of lawyer Aslan Ismailov has been terminated. This decision was made today by the Nariman District Court of Baku to grant the request of the Advocates' Bar of Azerbaijan to deprive Aslan Ismailov of advocate status and to expel him from the Advocates' Chamber. Aslan Ismailov himself does not agree with the decision of the Court.

Said Amirov becomes figurant in case on preparing terror act in Dagestan
Said Amirov, Mayor of Makhachkala, dismissed from his position, Magamed Abdulgalimov, ex-Assistant of the City Prosecutor of Khasavyurt, and Yusup Djaparov, the deputy head of the city of Kaspiisk, are suspected of preparing a terror act with the use of a man-portable surface-to-air missile system "Strela-2M", found today in a hiding place in Dagestan. This was reported by the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

Opposition challenges CEC's statement about absence of violations at elections in Krasnodar Territory
On September 8, in the Krasnodar Territory, 52 election campaigns were held, and they became the most peaceful and constructive elections in recent years in the region. Georgia to decide fate of remaining MIA's archive materials about citizens' privacy
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia has destroyed only a small part of the unlawfully collected archive with materials about the private lives of Georgian citizens, and the fate of the remaining materials will be decide by members of the specially established commission. This was reported by Lasha Tugushi, a member of the commission.
