In Azerbaijan, activist of "Musavat" Party detained
On Saturday morning, in the Azerbaijani city of Lankaran, policemen detained Fikret Akhmedov, a member of the audit commission of the "Musavat" Party. Members of the Party state that the police actions are associated with the proceedings in the case against Yadigyar Sadygov, another activist of the "Musavat" Party.

Ingush religious leaders decide to increase fine for bride abduction

Volgograd Regional Prosecutor's Office demands to announce construction of housing in nature park illegal
As reported by Oksana Cheredinina, a senior assistant to the Volgograd Regional Public Prosecutor, the construction of the cottage settlement in the Volga-Akhtuba Floodplain is illegal; and about 30 potential tenants who had invested into construction cannot register their titles.

This year, in Chechnya, 242 families of law enforcers and military personnel killed in the line of duty received one-time payments from the authorities in the total amount of more than 85 million roubles. MIA: store in Makhachkala was attacked by three
The explosion of the store "24 Hours" in Makhachkala killed one person and wounded two, Dagestani investigators report. 17 victims of Volgograd terror act are still in hospitals
As of November 7, 17 residents of Volgograd, who suffered at the recent terror act, continue their in-patient treatment, said the local Ministry of Public Health. Azerbaijan, court dismissed Gashimli's complaint against investigators
On November 7, the Sabail District Court of Baku considered the complaint lodged by Parviz Gashimli, a journalist and human rights defender, who asked to recognize the searches of his workplaces and seizure of his property and documents as illegitimate. The court dismissed the complaint.
