Investigation into Ayub Tuntuev's complaints about torture started
The criminal case on use of torture against Ayub Tuntuev, who worked in the security service of Akhmat Kadyrov and sentenced on the charge of involvement in a terror act, was instituted after the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) had sent a request to the Russian authorities in connection with the Ayub Tuntuev's complaints. Gukovo: miners agree to stop their hunger strike against authorities' guarantees
Protests will be terminated against the authorities' guarantees to pay off wage arrears completely and give out rations of coal. This was stated by participants of hunger strike in Gukovo. At present, the number of hunger-strikers is 176 people.

Azerbaijani rights defenders call on CE to give legal assessment of amendments to Constitution
Azerbaijani human rights defenders have sent an appeal to the Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CE) with a request to the Venice Commission to analyze the draft amendments to the Azerbaijani Constitution. According to the human rights defenders, the amendment to the Constitution would lead to the dominance of the President and to violations of human rights.

50 Sochi residents demand to connect their houses to electricity supply

HRC members demand from policemen to apologize to women involved in protest action in Beslan
