Militants killed in Grozny buried in unmarked graves
Bodies of the militants killed in the Chechen capital on December 17-18, 2016 have not been finally given out to their family members, who learned that their killed relatives were buried in unmarked graves near Grozny. Meanwhile, the law enforcement agencies do not comment on the information.

In "Nardaran case", defendants describe themselves as fighters against injustice
On January 18, the Baku Court of Grave Crimes continued listening to final speeches of the defendants in the "Nardaran case". All of them pleaded not guilty and associated their prosecution with fight against injustice and lawlessness. Defence demands to cancel sentence of Azerbaijani journalist Ikram Ragimov

Armenian experts support Sergey Lavrov's statement on Nagorno-Karabakh
On January 17, at a press conference on the results of 2016, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is not exclusively an internal affair of Azerbaijan. Defenders demand to consider appeal against arrests of Azerbaijani IDPs
The Court of Appeal has closed the consideration of an appeal filed against the arrests of four internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the Jabrail District of Azerbaijan, who were arrested for involvement in a protest action against power cuts-off in villages for IDPs. Residents of Dagestan report on calm situation in CTO area

Veliev's defence finds Baku court's arrest judgement unjustified
