In Baku, about 50 people pay tribute to memory of journalist Rasim Aliev
In Azerbaijan, activists from of the media, civil society and opposition have held an action to pay tribute to memory of journalist Rasim Aliev, who died two years ago after being beaten. Speakers who delivered their speeches during the action held the authorities of the country responsible for the journalist's death, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

A court in Moscow has dismissed the complaint about criminal prosecution of Shamil Nurmagomedov, suspected of sponsoring the terrorist organization “Islamic State” (IS), banned in Russia. Dagestan joins request to ban film "Matilda"
Anatoly Karibov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan, has asked to exclude the republic from the rental certificate for screening the film "Matilda". The Russian Ministry of Culture has stated that to make exceptions for certain regions is not in its competence and suggested that the authorities of Chechnya and Dagestan will decide for themselves whether to ban the film or not.
