Ministry aims to introduce combined tourist card for all resorts of Northern Caucasus

The Ministry for Northern Caucasus Affairs is engaged in development of a combined tourist card to allow tourists to visit at once several resorts of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD). This has been reported today by Odes Baisultanov, First Deputy Minister for Northern Caucasus Affairs.

"At present, we are working to develop a strategy to introduce a system of a combined ski pass, a combined insurance and a unified system of services to all our resorts," Odes Baisultanov reported.

He has explained that such a card can be used in case if, for example, a tourist arrived in Arkhyz for ten days, wants to explore not only this ski resort, but also others, also wishes to see neighbouring regions to get acquainted with cuisine, traditions and visit historical places.

"The tourist will need to buy only one tourist card for the entire vacation. And then the range of services will be provided at the tourist's choice, starting from transportation and accommodation and ending with selection of the period of skiing in this or that resort. That is, all services will be provided under a combined tourist card," Odessa Baisultanov said.

According to the First Deputy Minister, test combined tourist cards will be put into action by the next ski season.
