Human rights defenders criticize law enforcers' unwillingness to discuss struggle against radicalism in Caucasus
On May 22, Moscow launched meetings of the roundtable on the topic "Problems and best practices for counteracting the radicalization of young people in Northern Caucasus". Truck drivers from Dagestan detained while protesting in Khimki
The police have detained members of the "Association of Russian Carriers" (known as OPR), who came to Khimki from various regions, including Dagestan, to hold an action against the "Platon" system. Three detainees are sentenced to fines, and the rest are awaiting a trial.

German citizen detained in Abkhazia for border crossing
In the Gali District of Abkhazia, a German citizen was detained for illegal crossing the border with Georgia. He explained that he was engaged in hiking, and was not aware that he had crossed the border, informs the Abkhazian branch of the Frontier Department of the Russian FSB.

Experts doubt existence of "Kadar" militant grouping in Dagestan

In Ingushetia, two persons wounded in shelling
Two residents of Malgobek were hospitalized with gunshot wounds as a result of shelling at a vehicle service station. This was reported by the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). "Novaya Gazeta" describes first results of check of information about victims of anti-gay campaign in Chechnya
The pre-investigation check of the facts of persecution of homosexuals in Chechnya has become a real achievement on the way to investigate cruel repressions in the republic, the "Novaya Gazeta" reports. In Istanbul, Circassian procession ends with laying wreath at Consulate General of Russia (+video)
About 4000 members of the Caucasian Diasporas in Turkey took part in the annual action to pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the Caucasian War. Armenian CEC refuses to cancel results of elections to Yerevan Council of Elders
In Armenia, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has found no grounds in the demand of the opposition "Apricot Country" Party to cancel the results of the elections to the Council of Elders of Yerevan and finally approved the results of the voting.
