On August 1, a regular session was held on the case of Mardiros Demerchyan, a builder of Olympic facilities in Sochi, accused of false denunciation of policemen and stealing cable from the construction site. The defence insisted on calling and questioning the workers from Kyrgyzstan, who gave essential evidence against Demerchyan.

On July 30, Khasan Esmurziev was detained after a search in his house. Law enforcers reported on seizure of a pistol and a grenade from the house. For more than a day, an advocate was not allowed visiting the detainee.
