Houses of militants’ families blown up in Dagestan
Power agents have blown up the houses of alleged militants in the village of Bolshaya Zadoyevka in the Kizlyar District, claiming that explosive devices were stored there. However, villagers doubt the fact.

Azerbaijani power agents report liberation of all detained gays
All the 83 LGBTs detained in Baku are back at large, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) have reported; however, advocates could not confirm this information.

Activists regret about poor attendance of Nogais’ Remembrance and Sorrow Day
On October 1, about 120 members of the Nogai communities of Moscow and Novy Urengoy took part in the Remembrance and Sorrow Day. After the battle on October 1, 1783, and tsarist raids, Nogai people were scattered; many of them were killed, said Ramil Ishmukhambetov, a historian.

MoD requests 500 recruits from Chechnya

Caucasians detained near Moscow for preparing terror acts
Members of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia, who planned to commit transport terror acts in September, have been detained near Moscow, the Russian FSB (Federal Security Bureau) reports. There are natives of Northern Caucasus among the detainees.

Remains of 86 soldiers buried in Chechnya
On October 1, in the Naur District of Chechnya, the remains of Soviet soldiers, who perished in 1942, including at least 14 Armenian natives, were reburied. The Armenia’s Ambassador to Russia took part in the ceremony.

61 LGBT activists arrested after raids in Baku
