Member of HRC "Memorial" disappears after his detention in Chechnya
Today, in Chechnya, law enforcers have detained Oyub Titiev, the chief of the Grozny office of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial". His whereabouts is unknown, reported Oleg Orlov, a member of the Board for the HRC "Memorial".

Yunus-Bek Evkurov promises to help Ingush natives after their return from Syria

Five months after disappearance of Zelimkhan Bakaev, an artist from Chechnya, investigators did not shed light on his fate. His mobile phone number was re-registered to a resident of Moscow, and someone replaced his WhatsApp avatar with a photo of the Grozny mosque, reported relatives and colleagues of Zelimkhan Bakaev.

Health state of Magomed Khazbiev's father worsens after explosion
Khamzat Khazbiev, the father of Ingush oppositionist Magomed Khazbiev, suffered a heart attack after a grenade exploded in a yard of his house. Khamzat Khazbiev was diagnosed with fourth degree of cancer.

CDSI: 119 soldiers and officers killed in Southern Caucasus in 2017
78 out of 119 soldiers and officers of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, deceased in 2017, are non-combat casualties. The rest were killed in connection with violation of the ceasefire, the Caspian Defence Studies Institute (CDSI) reported.
