CTO in Tsumadin District introduced for the second time this year
Law enforcers are conducting counterterrorist operation (CTO) in a mountainous area and introduced the CTO regime in a part of the Tsumadin District of Dagestan, including the dwelling settlements of Kvanada and Gimerso, said a source from the Operational Headquarters in Dagestan of the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).

Fifteen people detained after brawl in Nagorno-Karabakh
The General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has opened a criminal case on hooliganism after the incident with law enforcers in Stepanakert, the NKR's capital. Participants in the protest rally agreed to disperse and go home, but stated that their resignation demands remain in force.

Tbilisi protests split into two camps

Nagorno-Karabakh accuses Azerbaijan of 200 cases of shelling per week
From May 27 till June 2, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire by making about 3000 shots on the positions of the Defence Army. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh.

Residents of Grozny complain about raids of utility inspectors to collect debts
Inspectors from the "Chechenenergo" Company, who visit people at home, often behave rudely, and sometimes they even demand to pay for electricity even for the current month, report residents of Grozny. According to the Mayor of Grozny, for two days of raids, about 400,000 roubles were collected.

Autistic children performed concert in Nagorno-Karabakh
On June 1, on the International Children's Day, exhibitions and concerts were held in Nagorno-Karabakh. Stepanakert held a concert with involvement of young patients from the Autism Centre. According to the director of the Stepanakert rehabilitation centre, the International Children's Day is a perfect occasion to pay attention to the problems of children with disabilities.

Voronezh rights defenders call on to write letters to Titiev

Guys accused of killing schoolboys in Tbilisi sentenced to long terms in prison
The Tbilisi City Court sentenced the defendants in the case of killing two schoolboys in Tbilisi to 10.5 years and to 9.75 years of imprisonment. At a meeting with the father of one of the casualties, the Georgian President promised to do everything for stability in the country.

Chechen schoolchildren stay at home for summer vacations
About 20,000 schoolchildren will go on vacation to summer camps in the territory of Chechnya. The number of vouchers for spending vacations outside the republic has decreased noticeably.
