Azerbaijan reports 26 shelling attacks in conflict zone

Owner of house destroyed during CTO in Nalchik tells about tenant
The house, in which during the counterterrorist operation in Nalchik, three persons were killed, was rented by a young man a day before the CTO, the woman-owner of the house has stated. Law enforcement sources have named the casualties.

NKR residents commemorate victims of Sumgait pogroms
On February 28, district centres of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) held marches, laying of flowers and other events in memory of the victims of the Sumgait pogroms. A documentary film about the pogroms of the Armenian population in Azerbaijan in late 1980s and early 1990s was screened in the central library of the district centre of Gadrut.

Policeman suspected of beating up Dagestani resident
A criminal case has been initiated against a road-and-patrol service (known as DPS) inspector suspected of beating up a resident of the Kayakent District of Dagestan, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has reported. Anniversary of Sumgait pogroms reminds of unresolved refugees' problem
The issue of refugees' return, including from Sumgait and the payment of compensations to them should be discussed at the official Azerbaijan-Armenia talks, but it is not raised, said Avaz Gasanov, the head of the Azerbaijani Society for Humanitarian Studies. Participants of rally in Nazran complain of law enforcers' pressure

Baku court announces verdict in PFPA case
