Chechnya: call to cut number of cars in wedding corteges turns impracticable
The appeal of the Mufti of Chechnya to organize sparsely crowded weddings and to limit the number of cars in wedding processions down to two cars has found no support in the republic. PFPA reports new detentions and arrests of its activists
Eight more activists of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) have been detained; and three earlier detainees have been arrested on criminal charges in connection with the July 15 action in Baku. The total number of detained PFPA activists has reached 17; and the number of those arrested is already five.

Moscow threatens USA with retaliation for new sanctions against Kadyrov
Russia, although not in the mirror-like way, will respond to the new sanctions of the US State Department against Ramzan Kadyrov, Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), has stated. Armenia accuses Azerbaijan of nine shelling attacks on border
The positions of the Armenian troops on the border with Azerbaijan were shelled, including from a grenade launcher, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia reports today. NKR counts 6000 shots from Azerbaijani side during week
