Round-table meeting titled "Mechanisms of Interaction Between Public Organizations and Law Enforcement Agencies in Krasnodar Region" took place in Krasnodar
A round-table meeting of the Krasnodar Regional Public Organization "Mothers in Defense of Rights of Arrested Persons, Persons Under Investigation, and Convicts" and the Krasnodar Club of Civil Education took place in the South Regional Resource Center on August 28. The title of the meeting was "Mechanisms of Interaction Between Public Organizations and Law Enforcement Agencies in Krasnodar Region ". The action was held with the support and participation of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Krasnodar region.
Representatives of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Security Service Department, the State Interior Department of the Krasnodar region, regional interior departments, the Administration of the Krasnodar Region, leaders of public organizations, and TV and mass media representatives took part in the work of the meeting.
The organizers of the action aimed to work out possible ways of interaction between a public organization and officials of law enforcement agencies to prevent human rights violations by officials of the Krasnodar police.
As a result of the discussion, its participants approved the idea of the initiative group creation for prevention, exposure and elimination of human rights violations from the point when police officers arrest a citizen.
