Drivers from the Volgograd and Astrakhan regions spoke about the situation at gas stations.

In the Volgograd region, after the drone attack on the oil refinery, fuel sales limits have been reintroduced. However, according to drivers, there is no rush at gas stations today. In the Astrakhan region, the situation has generally normalized, car owners reported.

Volgograd residents linked the appearance of queues to drone attacks

A correspondent from "Caucasian Knot" surveyed drivers in the Volgograd and Astrakhan regions about the gasoline situation.

Volgograd politician Ilya Kravchenko reported that there are "some queues" at gas stations on federal highways. In the regional center, on July 31, after the drone attack on the Wildberries warehouse and the Volgograd oil refinery, "queues were everywhere".

"I drove around (on August 1) looking for gasoline myself. At Lukoil in the center, they only sell diesel fuel. Gazprom has 92-octane. I didn't see any queues," Kravchenko said.

In his opinion, the main issue regarding queues is not the limits, "but the number of working gas stations."

A resident of the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd, who introduced himself as Dmitry, reported that after the attack by Ukrainian drones on the Volgograd oil refinery, drivers "rushed to fill up at gas stations".

"I stood in line for half an hour yesterday. When I left the gas station, the queue had doubled. Today I passed by gas stations on Lazorevaya Street (Kirovsky district of Volgograd) – there were no queues anywhere. Gasoline was being sold calmly - both 92-octane and 95-octane. However, on Zhukov Avenue (Dzerzhinsky district of Volgograd), gas stations were closed today. It seems we are in for another rush at gas stations," Dmitry said.

Dmitry noted that 95-octane gasoline was sold for 73 rubles per liter, and 92-octane for 67.99 rubles.

"The regional trade department has reintroduced fuel sales restrictions in Volgograd today. This is directly related to yesterday's air attack on the city. For one purchase, you can fill no more than 40 liters of any grade. For diesel, the limit is 60 liters in the city and 200 liters on federal highways," Dmitry reported.

A resident of the Central district of the city, Olga Kitaeva, is tracking fuel price dynamics in Volgograd. She reported that last week "something incredible happened" - prices for 92-octane and 95-octane gasoline at Lukoil gas stations decreased, by 22 kopecks for the first grade and by 33 kopecks for the second. At the same time, the price for diesel increased by 53 kopecks, and for 98-octane by 2 rubles.

"Well, the diesel situation is clear, the harvest has begun. This is a seasonal increase against the backdrop of a crisis fuel situation. Yesterday's attack on our oil refinery will likely lead to a new price increase very soon. We are waiting. For now, everything is calm at gas stations, although the limit of 40 liters per purchase has been reintroduced. I didn't see any queues in the city today (August 1)," Olga Kitaeva said.

Astrakhan residents reported on the normalization of the situation at gas stations

A minibus driver, who introduced himself as Damir, reported that there have been no problems with fuel purchases in Astrakhan lately. He filled up today without waiting in line at a gas station on Yerevanskaya Street. He paid 73.52 rubles for 95-octane. 92-octane at that station cost 67.75 rubles, and diesel – 80.13 rubles.

"I only saw one closed gas station in the city – on Sokolov Street. But there is a sign saying – 'for technical reasons'.

For a lower price, 95-octane gasoline was filled by a utility network engineer Nikolai Kurychev. His receipt shows 71 rubles per liter.

"There are no problems with refueling in Astrakhan. Gasoline prices are holding steady for now. I was in the Kharabalinsky district today. All gas stations on the highway are operating, and there are no queues at them. No one has been talking about limits for a long time: people are filling up without any odd-even restrictions. It was already not allowed to fill canisters openly before. There is no rush. The quality of gasoline seems to have not deteriorated. They are still maintaining the standard. I only heard from a colleague that there was no fuel today at the Gazprom gas station on the way out of Akhtubinsk. The reason is unknown," Kurychev said.
