80 closed gas stations resumed operations in Kuban

In the Krasnodar region, another 80 gas stations have opened, but fuel dispensing limits remain in place at most of them, reported Governor Veniamin Kondratiev.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on July 5, fuel was sold at 48% of gas stations in the Krasnodar region, the range of fuel types was limited, and dispensing limits continued to be in effect. Residents of Rostov-on-Don and North Ossetia complained about long waits in line. The influx of tourists traveling by car to the Black Sea during the peak season exacerbated the queue problem at gas stations in southern Russia. On July 6, fuel sales restrictions remained in the Krasnodar region, and in some cities, gasoline at gas stations ran out by the evening .

Governor Kondratiev announced the reopening of gas stations that had previously suspended operations during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. According to the governor, after Moscow increased supplies of gasoline and diesel fuel to the region, local authorities focused on reducing unloading and delivery times of fuel to gas stations.

At most operating gas stations, there is a limit of 20–30 liters per vehicle, and sales in canisters and other containers have been suspended.

A list of gas stations designated exclusively for special vehicles, utility equipment, and public transport has been established in the region. Authorities have also taken measures to reduce fuel consumption by government agencies and regional enterprises, Kondratiev wrote on his Telegram channel.

Kondratiev's statement is indirectly confirmed by data from the "Where is Gas" service (Gdebenz.ru): as of 22:27 MSK today, gasoline is available at least at 20 gas stations in Krasnodar.
