A fighter from the Volgograd region was killed in the SVO zone

Danila Skomorokhov from the Kamyshin district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 1814 combatants from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed.

At least 4662 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4738 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

The administration of the Kamyshin district reported today on the opening of a memorial plaque for serviceman Danila Skomorokhov in the village of Semyonovka via their Telegram channel.

Skomorokhov was posthumously awarded the medal "For Courage". Other details of the fighter's biography and his death were not provided in the report from the district authorities.

Thus, at least 1814 fighters from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who have been killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, as stated in the report by "Caucasian Knot" "SVO Statistics: Losses for Southern Russia are Growing".

The last time the death of a fighter from the Kamyshin district was reported was at the end of May. At that time, authorities announced that Miroslav Smiyan was killed in the military operation.
