As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", the evacuation of residents of three settlements in the Krymsk district of the Krasnodar Territory has begun due to the partial overflow of the Kuban River over the dam near the Zapadny farmstead.

Residents of the farmsteads of Urma and Khankov-2 were evacuated in the Slavyansky district of the Krasnodar Territory due to a dam break in the area of ​​the Neftyanik gardening association - the Sobolevsky farmstead, Interfax reports, citing the municipal emergency dispatch service.

According to the emergency dispatch service of the Slavyansky district, a 25-30 meter break in the dam occurred in the area of ​​the Neftyanik gardening association - the Sobolevsky farmstead. Two temporary accommodation centers have been prepared for the evacuation of residents in the village of Anastasievskaya.

The Krasnodar Krai task force reported that, in addition to the Sobolevsky hamlet, a dam has been breached near the village of Zapadny in the Krymsky district. "As a result, farmland has been flooded. However, there is no flooding of homes. There is no threat to residents. The water level in the rivers has begun to recede," the statement reads.

In the Krymsky district, residents were evacuated in advance of the threat. 39 people are in a temporary accommodation center. As a preventative measure, work continues to strengthen the dam near the village of Troitskaya.

In the Slavyansky district, residents were also evacuated in advance; 17 people are in a temporary accommodation center. Thanks to the work carried out, the dam overflow near the Neftyaniki gardening association in the village of Sobolevsky is not increasing, and the structures are not damaged. Work continues to strengthen the dams in the villages of Troitsky and Prikubansky.

The road leading to the village of Zapadny in the Krymsky District is flooded, the district administration reported.
