39 residential buildings damaged in Taganrog by drone attacks

In Taganrog, a drone attack damaged 12 apartment buildings, 27 private homes, and 10 cars. One of the eight victims remains hospitalized.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," last night, one person died in a drone attack in Taganrog, and another eight others required medical attention.

One of the victims remains hospitalized, Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel. "Doctors assess her condition as stable and are providing the necessary assistance. Seven more people were injured; they refused hospitalization and received medical care on the spot," he wrote.

According to him, "more than six dozen UAVs" were destroyed in Taganrog and six districts of the region: Neklinovsky, Azovsky, Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Matveyevo-Kurgansky, and Sholokhovsky.

In Taganrog, "as a result of falling UAV debris," several residential buildings and cars caught fire, the official noted. "Residents were evacuated, and everyone received assistance. All fires have now been extinguished. Gas pipes were damaged in one of the buildings; the gas has been shut off, and there are no fires. Residents of the apartment building near which UAV debris was found have been evacuated, and bomb disposal experts are working," he wrote.

In addition, School No. 26 was damaged. "The following were partially destroyed or damaged: 12 apartment buildings, 27 private homes, and 10 cars. All victims will be provided with assistance in eliminating the consequences. After the emergency services complete their operations, the city administration will begin to inspect the damaged areas," the publication states.

As a reminder, on January 13, a woman was killed in an attack in Taganrog .. Eight residential buildings, two industrial facilities, and six cars were also damaged. Authorities promised assistance to all victims.

Residents of a building in central Taganrog damaged by a rocket fall in the summer of 2023 received 10,000 rubles each and had their broken windows replaced, even though the apartments required significant repairs. Victims have the right to seek compensation through the courts, lawyers interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" indicated.

In the Rostov Region, there is a ban on filming air attacks and their aftermath, air defense operations, and military units. The "Caucasian Knot" published a corresponding governor's decree.

In August 2025, two people in the Rostov region were fined for filming the aftermath of drone attacks.
